Darwin, Northern Territory; Katherine, Northern Territory; Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

On Sunday 21 July 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, travelled from Darwin, Northern Territory to RAAF Base Tindal, Katherine, Northern Territory.   

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Wing Commander Fiona Pearce, Commanding Officer 17 Squadron, visited RAAF Base Tindal and was provided a tour of the military working dogs, base infrastructure projects, community initiatives, on base living quarters, the Air Force firefighter station, a United States Air Force aircraft, and 75 Squadron RAAF.  

Afterwards, the Governor-General travelled from RAAF Base Tindal, Katherine, Northern Territory, to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.
