On Tuesday 31 October 2017, at Parliament House, Darwin, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), attended a ceremony at which the Governor-General administered the Oath of Office to the Administrator of the Northern Territory, Her Honour the Honourable Vicki O’Halloran AM.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as guest of the Chief Minister of the Northern Territory, the Honourable Michael Gunner MLA, attended a reception.

Later, at Government House, Darwin, the Governor-General met with Her Honour the Honourable Vicki O’Halloran AM, Mr Craig O’Halloran and Ms Coco O’Halloran.

Then, the Governor-General, as Prior, hosted an Investiture Ceremony for the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, at which he appointed Mrs O’Halloran as a Dame of Grace in the Order of St John.

In the afternoon, at Pacific Suites, Canberra, Lady Cosgrove, as Patron, attended the annual general meeting of the Partners of Veteran’s Association.

Earlier, at Sydney International Airport, was represented for the arrival to Australia of the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, His Excellency Dr Dragan Čović, by Honorary Aide-de-Camp, Commander Piers Chatterton ADC RAN.
