Dedication Ceremony of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander War Memorial
On Sunday 10 November 2013, at the Torrens Parade ground, Adelaide, the Governor-General the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE attended the dedication ceremony of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander War Memorial, at which the Governor-General addressed the audience and officially unveiled the dedication plaque.
Afterwards, at Sydney International Airport, the Governor-General was represented at the arrival in Australia of the Governor-General of Tuvalu, His Excellency Sir Iakoba Taeia Italeli, by Commander Piers Chatterton ADC RAN, Honorary Aide-de-Camp.
