Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade graduates

On Tuesday 26 June 2012, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, hosted a morning tea for the new intake of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade graduates.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received the High Commissioner to the Solomon Islands, Mr Matthew Anderson PSM.

Later, the Governor-General received the Director of the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Agency, Ms Helen Conway.

In the afternoon, Mr Bryce, as Patron, received the President of the Defence Force Welfare Association, Colonel David Jamison AM (Ret’d) and the Executive Director of the Defence Force Welfare Association, Mr Alf Jaugietis.

In the evening, at the National Portrait Gallery, Mr Bryce, as Patron of the Australian Institute of Architects, attended the Built Environment Meets Parliament 2012 Australian Award for Urban Design presentation dinner.
