Dinner in recognition of the 150th Anniversary of the Foundation of Italian National Unity; Ceremonial Departure of the President of the Republic of Cyprus
On Wednesday 25 May 2011, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received a farewell call by the High Commissioner for Papua New Guinea, His Excellency Mr Charles Lepani and Mrs Katherine Lepani.
In the evening, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE hosted a dinner in recognition of the 150th Anniversary of the Foundation of Italian National Unity. Earlier, at Defence Establishment Fairbairn, Canberra, the Governor-General was represented at the departure from Canberra of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, His Excellency Mr Demetris Christofias and Mrs Elisavet Christofia by the Deputy Official Secretary to the Governor-General, Mr Mark Fraser OAM.
