Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Amman, Jordan; Tel Aviv; Jerusalem, Israel

On Monday 20 January 2020, at Government House, Canberra, the Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, His Excellency the Honourable Hieu Van Le AC, presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley traveled from Dubai, United Arab Emirates to Jerusalem, Israel.

While transiting through Amman, Jordan, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley were met by His Excellency Mr Miles Armitage, Ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

On arrival in Tel Aviv, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley were met by His Excellency Mr Chris Cannan, Ambassador to the State of Israel.

The Governor-General and Mrs Hurley then traveled to Jerusalem, Israel.

Earlier, the Administrator and Mrs Lan Le hosted a reception for the Supreme and Federal Court Judges’ Conference at Government House, Canberra.
