Duke of Edinburgh Award in Australia; National Launch of Legacy Week; Launch of Bronwyn Bancroft's book ???Kangaroo and Crocodile'; London 2012 Paralympic Games reception.

On Monday 29 August 2011, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC, as Patron, received from the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award in Australia the Chief Executive Officer, Ms Kim Brislane; Communications Manager, Ms Soraya Calavassy; and Duke of Edinburgh Gold Awardees, Ms Lucky Giirre, Mr Alan Huynh and Ms Ramla Giirre.

Afterwards, at Martin Place, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE attended the National Launch of Legacy Week, at which the Governor-General gave an address and laid a wreath.

Later, at Gleebooks, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce attended a reception at which the Governor-General launched Bronwyn Bancroft's new book ‘Kangaroo and Crocodile’

In the evening, at the Sydney Conservatorium, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce attended a reception to celebrate 'One Year to Go' until the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
