East Arnhem Region, Northern Territory; Gan Gan, Northern Territory

On Tuesday 15 November 2022, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley travelled from East Arnhem Region, Northern Territory, to Gan Gan, Northern Territory.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Mr Yinimala Gumana, attended a traditional welcome ceremony.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley attended a ceremony at which the Governor-General, as Chancellor, presented a Group Bravery Citation.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley travelled from Gan Gan, Northern Territory, to East Arnhem Region, Northern Territory.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Mr Wanyubi Marika, Chair, met with Board Members of the Rirratjingu Aboriginal Corporation.
