Farewell call from the High Commissioner for the Republic of South Africa; Vietnam Veterans' Remembrance Day Service

On Wednesday 18 August 2010, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received a farewell call from the High Commissioner for the Republic of South Africa, His Excellency Mr Lenin Magigwane Shope.

Afterwards, at the Australian Vietnam Forces National Memorial, Canberra, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE attended the Vietnam Veterans’ Remembrance Day Service, at which the Governor-General delivered the first reading and laid a wreath.

Later, at Government House, Mr Bryce received the Executive Director, NSW Bar Association, Mr Philip Selth OAM.
