Farewell call by the High Commissioner for the United Kingdom; Call by the Ambassador-designate to the Kingdom of Thailand; Reception for the Sir Edward Dunlop Medical Research Foundation; RAAF Association lunch
On Thursday 19 August 2010, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received a farewell call from the High Commissioner for the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Her Excellency the Right Honourable Baroness Valerie Amos.
Afterwards, the Governor-General received the Ambassador-designate to the Kingdom of Thailand, Mr James Wise.
In the evening, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, as Patron, and Mr Bryce AM AE hosted a reception celebrating the Silver Jubilee of the Sir Edward Dunlop Medical Research Foundation.
Earlier, at the Commonwealth Club, Canberra, Mr Bryce attended lunch with members of the ACT Branch of the RAAF Association.
