Farewell Lunch for Mrs Karen Baker; Friends of Government House reception

On Wednesday 10 December, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, hosted a farewell lunch for the Director of Corporate Services, Mrs Karen Baker. Guests included: Mr Daniel Baker and Mrs Elizabeth Baker; Mr Dean Baker; Ms Rachelle Baker; Mrs Kerry Cox; Mr Norm Dunn RVM; Mr Mark Fraser LVO OAM; Ms Julianne Gepp; Mrs Glenda Hausler; Mr Matt Malone; Mr Stephen Murtagh; Ms Harriet Spring; and Mr Clement Tyhuis.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as Patron, received the Chairman of the Beacon Foundation, Mr Bill Lawson AM.

Later, the Governor-General received the Secretary of the Department of Health, Mr Martin Bowles PSM.

Then, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove hosted a reception for Friends of Government House.
