Federal Executive Council; Afternoon tea at Morshead home; Reception for Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge

On Thursday 24 April 2014, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received the Secretary of the Department of Health, Professor Jane Halton PSM.

Later, at Morshead Home, Lyneham, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Southern Region General Manager of RSL LifeCare, Ms Elizabeth Jenkins, attended an afternoon tea with residents.

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, hosted a reception for young Australians, in honour of Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
