Federal Executive Council; Lunch for the Deputy Secretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs; St John Investiture Ceremony; Duke of Edinburgh’s Award ACT 2015 Gold Award Presentation

On Thursday 12 March 2015, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received the Australian Ambassador to Italy, the Honourable Mike Rann CNZM.

Later, the Governor-General received for lunch the Deputy Secretary, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Mr Gary Quinlan.

Then, the Governor-General, as Prior of the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, and Lady Cosgrove, hosted a St John investiture ceremony.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as Patron, and Lady Cosgrove hosted the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award ACT 2015 Gold Award Presentation ceremony.
