Federal Executive Council; Opening of the ???Brook Andrew: The Cell' exhibition

On Thursday 8 July 2010, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Chief Executive Officer of BeyondWater, Ms Sharon Crean.

Later, the Governor-General received Chair of the Great Artesian Basin Coordinating Committee, Mr Jeff Austin, and South Australian community representative of the Great Artesian Basin Coordinating Committee, Mr Lynn Brake.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General received a farewell call from the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait, His Excellency Mr Jamal Issa Al Ghunaim.

In the evening, at the Sherman Contemporary Art Foundation, Paddington, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, as guests of the Chair and Executive Director, Dr Gene Sherman AM, attended a reception at which the Governor-General officially opened the ‘Brook Andrew: The Cell’ exhibition.
