Federal Executive Council; Woden Senior Citizen's Club; Reception for the Birthday of the Emperor of Japan

On Wednesday 23 November 2011, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received the Ambassador-designate to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Dr Ralph King.

Later, the Governor-General met with students of New Farm State School.

Then, the Governor-General received the Prime Minister, the Honourable Julia Gillard MP.

In the afternoon, in Woden, Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, as Patron, met with members of the Woden Senior Citizen’s Club.

Afterwards, at the Embassy of Japan, Yarralumla, Mr Bryce attended a reception hosted by the Ambassador of Japan, His Excellency Mr Shigekazu Sato, in recognition of the birthday of the Emperor of Japan.
