The First Emperor: China's Entombed Warriors' exhibition; Royal Australian Historical Society; Football Federation Australia's 2022 FIFA World Cup bid presentation

On Wednesday 1 December 2010, at the Art Gallery of NSW, Sydney, the Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, Her Excellency Professor Marie Bashir AC CVO and Sir Nicholas Shehadie AC OBE, as guests of the Director, Mr Edmund Capon AM OBE, attended a ceremony at which the Administrator launched 'The First Emperor: China's Entombed Warriors' exhibition.

In the evening, at the Loxley on Bellbird Hill, Kurrajong, the Administrator and Sir Nicholas attended a dinner for the Kurrajong-Comleroy Historical Society.

Earlier, at the Dolder Grand, Zurich, Switzerland, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE received His Royal Highness Prince William of Wales KG.

Afterwards, at the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) Headquarters, Zurich, Switzerland, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce attended the Football Federation Australia’s 2022 FIFA World Cup bid presentation, at which the Governor-General gave an address.

Later, at Brisbane International Airport, the Governor-General was represented at the arrival in Australia of the President of the Republic of Nauru, His Excellency the Honourable Marcus Stephen MP, by Colonel Dennis Scanlan CSM ADC, an Honorary Aide-de-Camp.
