First Voice; HOME Hospice Bev Gallop Memorial Fund

On Thursday 7 October 2010, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received the Director of Di Yerbury and Associates, Emeritus Professor Di Yerbury AO.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General received Chief Executive Officer, Money Solutions and Board Member of The Women’s College, the University of Sydney, Ms Virginia Dowd.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as Patron, and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE hosted an afternoon tea for the official launch of ‘First Voice’.

Later, the Governor-General received the Managing Director of Atlantic Philanthropies, Dr David Kennedy.

In the evening, at the Sydney College of the Arts, Rozelle, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce attended a reception to celebrate the artwork of Bev Gallop and establish the HOME Hospice Bev Gallop Memorial Fund.

Earlier, Mr Bryce as Patron, received the Chancellor of St John Ambulance Australia, Mr Neil Conn AO.
