On Friday 18 June 2010, at the Westin Hotel, Sydney, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC, as Patron of the Australian Association for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, attended the UNHCR Annual World Refugee Day Breakfast.

Afterwards, the Governor-General met with former Prime Minister, the Honourable Gough Whitlam AC QC.
