Fromelles Commemorative Service; Jewish Museum of Australia

On Sunday 19 July 2015, at the Shrine of Remembrance, Melbourne, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Founding Executive Member, Friends of the 15th Brigade, Mr Lambis Englezos AM attended the 2015 Fromelles Commemorative Service, at which Their Excellencies laid a wreath and the Governor-General made an address.

Afterwards, at the Jewish Museum of Australia, St Kilda, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Director and CEO, Ms Rebecca Forgasz, President, Barry Fradkin OAM and President VAJEX Australia, Dr Judy Landau, viewed the ‘True Jews and Patriots: Australian Jews and World War One’ exhibition.
