Good Samaritan Foundation Breakfast; National Health and Medical Research Council Centre Opening

On Friday 20 April 2012, at the Brisbane Club, Brisbane, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO, as guest of the Chairman, Mr Patrick Mullins, attended a breakfast in support of the Good Samaritans Foundation.

Afterwards, at the Queensland College of Art, the Governor-General, as guest of the Chancellor of Griffith University, Ms Leneen Forde AC, and the Vice-Chancellor and President of Griffith University, Professor Ian O’Connor, officially opened the National Health and Medical Research Council Centre for Research Excellence in Nursing Intervention for Hospitalised Patients.

In the evening, at Melbourne International Airport, the Governor-General was represented at the departure from Australia of the President of the Republic of Lebanon, His Excellency General Michel Sleiman, by Brigadier David Shields ADC, an Honorary Aide-de-Camp.
