Governor-General attends Clontarf Foundation event

The role of the Clontarf Foundation as a champion of Indigenous education was recognised by the Governor-General and supporters during an event at Parliament House, Canberra.

Ms Bryce, who is Patron of Clontarf, discussed the education and employment opportunities made possible by the organisation through school and sport programs. Clontarf currently caters for 2800 students in schools across Western Australia, the Northern Territory, Victoria and New South Wales.

The Governor-General previously visited Clontarf programs at Karratha Senior High School, WA, in August 2011 and Kununurra, WA, in May 2010.
