Governor-General unveils portrait of Her Majesty The Queen

The Governor-General officially unveiled a portrait of Her Majesty The Queen at the National Portrait Gallery, Canberra.

Australian artist Ralph Heimans produced the portrait, which is the only one to be painted in The Queen's Diamond Jubilee year.

The portrait is on display until 31 March 2013 before being returned to London for the 60th anniversary of The Queen's coronation.
