Governor-General visits Matthew Talbot Men's Hostel

The Governor-General visited the Matthew Talbot Men's Hostel in Woolloomooloo after receiving an invitation from resident Kevern, who previously met Ms Bryce at a UN Anti-Poverty Week event.

President of the NSW St Vincent de Paul Society, Mr Ray Reynolds, Operations Manager of Men's Services, Mr Brett Macklin, and Kevern escorted the Governor-General through the accommodation and OZANAM Learning Centre and introduced her to residents and staff members.

The Hostel provides assistance to more than 35,600 homeless men every year.
