Governor-General vists Orange, NSW

In Orange, the Governor-General visited TAFE NSW Western Orange Campus and was briefed on the training and educational programs offered in the region, including the Indigenous Police Recruitment Our Way Delivery program (IPROWD).

Ms Bryce and Mr Michael Bryce were briefed on the program by Coordinator Mr Peter Gibbs and spoke via a remote broadband link to IPROWD Indigenous students studying in Dubbo.

Later, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce met children at the CareWest Glenroi Pre-School, which provides educational assistance to students from low socio-economic backgrounds for their transition to primary school.
