Graduation Parade for full time General Service Officer Graduands at the Royal Military College; Condolences on the passing of the late Mr Nelson Mandela AC; Launch of the New Colombo Plan
On Tuesday 10 December 2013, at the Royal Military College Duntroon, Canberra, the Governor-General the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE attended the Graduation Parade for full time General Service Officer Graduands, at which the Governor-General, as Commander-in-Chief, reviewed the Parade and presented the Sword of Honour and the Queen’s Medal.
Afterwards, at the High Commission of the Republic of South Africa, the Governor-General, as guest of the Acting High Commissioner, Mr Tiyani Raymond Sithole, signed a book of condolence on the passing of the late Mr Nelson Mandela AC.
Later, at Parliament House, the Governor-General, as Patron and guest of the Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Honourable Julie Bishop MP, attended the launch of the New Colombo Plan.
Earlier, at Government House, Mr Bryce, as Patron, hosted an afternoon tea for the Executive of the ACT Cricket Association.
