Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Mr Gregory Irons, Director, visited Bonorong Animal Sanctuary.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as guest of Ms Heather Kent, Chief Executive Officer, St Vincent de Paul Society Tasmania, visited Bethlehem House. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as guest of Mr John Thompson, Chair, visited Homely Retreats.

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Mr Harvey Lennon, Chief Executive Officer, visited Hobart City Mission.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as guest of Ms Sheldene Blackler, Acting Chief Executive Officer, visited the Migrant Resource Centre. 

In the evening, the Governor-General travelled from Hobart, Tasmania, to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.
