Indigenous Veterans’ Commemoration Service; Reception for Palliative Care NSW; Louisa MacDonald Oration dinner; European Australian Business Council Mission to Europe
On Friday 31 May 2013, at the ANZAC Memorial, Hyde Park Sydney, the Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, Her Excellency Professor Marie Bashir AC CVO, delivered an address and laid a wreath at the 7th Indigenous Veterans’ Commemoration Service.
In the evening, at the Holme Building, University of Sydney, the Administrator delivered an address on behalf of Palliative Care New South Wales at the Palliative Care NSW Awards 2013.
Afterwards, at the Women's College, the Administrator attended the Louisa MacDonald Oration Dinner, given by Ms Geraldine Doogue.
Earlier, at Le Bourget Airport, France, the Governor-General the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, were welcomed by the Ambassador to the French Republic, His Excellency Mr Ric Wells.
Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce attended a visit briefing by the Ambassador.
