International Women’s Day lunch; Reception for the Canberra Hospital Foundation; Departure from Australia of The King and Queen of Norway

On Thursday 5 March 2015, at the National Convention Centre, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), as Patron of UN Women Australia, and Lady Cosgrove, attended the International Women’s Day lunch.

Afterwards, at Government House, Canberra, Lady Cosgrove, as Patron, and the Governor-General, hosted a reception for the Canberra Hospital Foundation.

Later, at Perth International Airport, the Governor-General was represented at the departure from Australia of Their Majesties King Harald V and Queen Sonja of Norway, by Colonel Michael Page ADC, Honorary Aide-de-Camp.
