Investiture Ceremony and Dinner; Return of Writs

On Friday 17 September 2010, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Bryce AM AE attended, and the Governor-General conducted, an investiture ceremony.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Board Member of Brisbane Girls Grammar School, Ms Elizabeth Jameson.

Later, the Governor-General received from the Australian Electoral Commission the Writs for the election of Members of the House of Representatives from each of the States and Territories, together with the Writs for the election of Senators from the Australian Capital Territory and the Northern Territory.
