Jerusalem, Israel; Amman, Jordan

On Thursday 23 January 2020, Their Excellencies, General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, as guests of His Excellency Mr Reuven Rivlin, President of the State of Israel, attended the World Holocaust Forum, marking the 75th Anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration Camp, at Yad Vashem, Jerusalem.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley departed from Jerusalem, Israel, for return to Australia.

While transiting through Amman, Jordan, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley were met by Captain Doug Griffiths RAN, Defence Attaché Amman.
