On Saturday 11 June 2016, at Horse Guards Parade, London, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) and Lady Cosgrove, attended Trooping the Colour ‘The Queen’s Birthday Parade’.

Afterwards, at Lord’s Cricket Ground, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as the guests of the President of the Marylebone Cricket Club, Mr Roger Knight OBE, attended the England v Sri Lanka match.
