On Friday 10 June 2016, at St Paul’s Cathedral, London, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) and Lady Cosgrove, attended the National Service of Thanksgiving to mark the 90th Birthday of Her Majesty The Queen.

Afterwards, at Buckingham Palace, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as the guests of Her Majesty The Queen, attended a lunch for Commonwealth Governors-General.

In the evening, at Stoke Lodge, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Australian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, His Excellency the Honourable Alexander Downer AC and Mrs Nicola Downer AM, attended a dinner.
