On Thursday 9 June 2016, in London, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Chair, Ms Heather Lawrence OBE and Chief Executive, Dr Fiona Moore MBE, visited the London Ambulance Service, at which they met with Australian Paramedics on exchange and viewed the Emergency Operations Centre.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as the guests of the CEO of Lendlease, Mr Dan Labbad, visited the Elephant Park Experience Suite and received an overview on the Elephant and Castle Regeneration Project.

Later, at Buckingham Palace, the Governor-General attended a meeting of Commonwealth Governors-General.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove attended a dinner with the Governor-General of New Zealand, His Excellency Lieutenant General the Right Honourable Sir Jeremiah Mateparae GNZM and Her Excellency Lady Janine Mateparae, and the Governor-General of Canada, His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston CC CMM COM CD and Her Excellency Sharon Johnston CC.
