On Friday 3 June 2022, in London, England, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, as guests of The Lord Chamberlain, attended the National Service of Thanksgiving as part of events marking the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty The Queen.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of the Right Honourable Alderman Vincent Keaveny, Lord Mayor of London, attended a lunchtime reception.

Afterwards, the Governor-General conducted an interview with Mr Rob Harris, Fairfax Media.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley met with Her Excellency the Right Honourable Dame Cindy Kiro GNZM QSO, Governor-General of New Zealand, and His Excellency Dr Richard Davies.

Earlier, the Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, Her Excellency the Honourable Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC travelled from Melbourne, Victoria, to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.

In the evening, the Administrator and Mr Howard, as guests of His Excellency Mr Amir Maimon, Ambassador of Israel, attended a Shabbat dinner at the Ambassador’s residence.
