On Sunday 23 October 2011, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC, and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE hosted a lunch in honour of Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh. Guests included: Mr Philip Bacon AM; Mr Martin Culkin and Ms Joy Hillier; Mr Bart Cummings AM; Mr Anh Do and Mrs Suzanne Do; Sister Angela Mary Doyle AO; Mr Kurt Fearnley OAM and Mrs Sheridan Fearnley; Dr Catherine Hamlin AC; Mr Michael Hill Smith AM and Mrs Stacey Hill Smith; Professor Douglas Hilton and Mrs Adrienne Hilton; Mr Peter Mason AM and Mrs Kate Mason; Mr Don McDonald AM OBE and Mrs Christine McDonald; Mr Rupert Myer AM and Mrs Annabel Myer; Ms June Oscar; Dr Muriel Porter OAM and the Reverend Dr Brian Porter; Mr Geoffrey Rush and Mrs Jane Menelaus Rush; and members of the Royal Household and Office of the Official Secretary to the Governor-General.

Earlier, at St Paul’s Memorial Anzac Chapel, Royal Military College Duntroon, Mr Bryce, as Patron, attended the St John Ambulance Australian Capital Territory Annual Service of Rededication.
