Marysville Community Centre Official Opening; Murrindindi Shire ladies afternoon tea

On Saturday 19 November 2011, at Marysville, Victoria, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, as guests of the Mayor of Murrindindi Shire Council, Councillor Peter Beales, and Chief Executive Officer, Ms Margaret Abbey attended a community reception at which the Governor-General officially opened the Marysville Community Centre.

Afterwards, the Governor-General hosted an afternoon tea for women from the Murrindindi Shire.

Earlier, the Governor-General was represented at Sydney International Airport at the arrival in Australia of the Crown Princess of the Kingdom of Denmark, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary, by Commander Theodore Wynberg ADC RAN, an Honorary Aide-de-Camp.

Afterwards, the Governor-General was represented at Sydney International Airport at the departure from Australia of the President of the Republic of Vanuatu, His Excellency Mr Iolu Johnson Abbil, by Colonel Michael Miller RFD ADC, an Honorary Aide-de-Camp.

Later, the Governor-General was represented at Sydney International Airport at the arrival in Australia of the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Denmark, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik, by Colonel Debra Bradford ADC, an Honorary Aide-de-Camp.
