On Monday 25 February 2019, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Air Marshal Leo Davies AO CSC, Chief of Air Force, attended the 2019 Defence and Aerospace Industry Conference at the Melbourne Convention Centre.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, hosted a morning tea for Victorian-based patronages at The Langham Hotel.

Later, the Governor General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Ms Jillian Segal AO, Chair of the General Sir John Monash Foundation, attended a presentation ceremony for the 2019 Sir John Monash Scholarship recipients at the Shrine of Remembrance.

Then, the Governor-General, as guest speaker, and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Major General Simone Wilkie AO (Retd), Commissioner, and Mrs Katie Reaper, Facilitator, attended the AFL Victoria's Women’s Leadership Program at AFL House.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Mr Edward Tudor, Executive Director, visited the Melbourne Indigenous Transition School, at Richmond Football Club.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Air Marshal Davies, attended the Australian International Air Show Defence and Industry Dinner at the Melbourne Convention Centre.
