On Friday 8 June 2018 the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, attended the unveiling of the official portrait of Corporal Cameron Baird VC MG, at Box Hill RSL, as guests Mr Tony Bowden OAM, Branch President.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove officially opened Vision Australia’s Wicking Centre, Kooyong, as guests of Mr Andrew Moffatt, Chairman, Vision Australia.

Later, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove visited The Australian Ballet Centre, South Bank, as guests of Mr David McAllister AM, Artistic Director, The Australian Ballet.
