On Tuesday 30 July 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC hosted a breakfast for existing and emerging champions of corporate philanthropy. 

Then, the Governor-General met with Brigadier Rob Marsh PSM and Colonel Mark Richards, Honorary Aides-de-Camp to the Governor-General. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as guest of Mr Ben Pook, Advocacy & Government Relations Manager, visited and met with staff of Yourtown’s Kids Helpline Counselling Centre. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as guest of Her Excellency Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardiner AC, attended lunch at Government House Victoria. 

Then, the Governor-General, as Senior Patron of the Humane Society of Australasia, attended a presentation at which the Posthumous Clarke Medal for Lisa Mandeltort was presented to her parents. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General travelled from Melbourne, Victoria, to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.
