Melbourne visit

On Saturday 11 July 2015, at Government House, Melbourne, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove met with the Governor of Victoria, Her Excellency the Honourable Linda Dessau AM and Judge Tony Howard QC.

Afterwards, at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove attended the Round 15 AFL match between Essendon and Melbourne.

Later, at the Melbourne Museum, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove as guests of the Chancellor, the Honourable John Fahey AC, attended the Australian Catholic University Presidents’ Roundtable Reception, as part of the 25th General Assembly of the International Federation of Catholic Universities, at which the Governor-General delivered the keynote address.
