Melbourne Visit

On Wednesday 27 November 2013, at the Lyceum Club, Melbourne, the Governor-General the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO, as an Honorary Life Member and guest of the President, Dr Barbara Inglis, attended a morning tea with current and past committee members.

Afterwards, at the Langham Hotel, the Governor-General received the Chair of Indigenous Eye Health Unit from the University of Melbourne, Professor Hugh Taylor AC and Associate Professor Elizabeth Dax.

Later, in Northcote, the Governor-General, as guest of the Chair of the Elizabeth Hoffman House, Ms Monica Morgan, met with staff and clients.

In the evening, at the Melbourne Arts Centre, the Governor-General, accompanied by Dr Helen Drennen, attended Opera Australia’s Das Rheingold.
