On Monday 10 May 2010, at RAAF Base Tindal, Northern Territory, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, as guests of RAAF Base Tindal Senior Officer, Wing Commander Philip Arms CSC, attended a lunch with service personnel.

Later, at the Katherine Civic Centre, Northern Territory, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce attended a civic reception hosted in their honour by the Mayor of the Katherine Town Council, Her Worship the Mayor Anne Shepherd.
