On Monday 24 May 2010, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC, as Patron-in-Chief, and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE hosted a morning tea for Kidney Health Australia, at which the Governor-General presented the Priscilla Kincaid-Smith Medal.

Afterwards, at St John House, Burwood, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce attended a ceremony at which the Governor-General, as Prior of the Order of St John, officially opened the new St John Ambulance Australia (NSW) headquarters. In the afternoon, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General received Ms Anne Keating and Mrs Min Keating. In the evening, at the Wilson Street Gallery, Newtown, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce attended a reception at which the Governor-General launched the book ???Why I Love Australia' by Bronwyn Bancroft.
