On Monday 25 May 2009, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received the President of Australian Women Sport and Recreation Association, Ms Janice Crosswhite OAM; the Deputy Chair, Ms Heather Reid; and Project Officer, Ms Henny Oldenhove.
Afterwards, the Governor-General received a farewell call by the Ambassador for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Her Excellency Ms Amira Kapetanovic. Later, the Governor-General received the Tanzanian Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation, the Honourable Bernard Membe. In the evening, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce hosted a reception for the participants of the International Association of Law Schools Conference. Earlier, at Sydney International Airport, the Governor-General was represented at the arrival in Australia of the President of the Republic of Nauru, His Excellency the Honourable Marcus Stephen MP, by Commander Theodore Wynberg ADC RAN, an Honorary Aide-de-Camp.
