Afterwards, the Governor-General received the Chief Executive Officer, The Leukaemia Foundation Australia, Mr Peter Cox and the General Manager, Research, Advocacy and Patient Care, Dr Anna Williamson. In the afternoon, the Governor-General received the Executive Director, Royal Flying Doctor Service, Captain Clyde Thompson, who was accompanied by Sir Michael Bishop CBE. Afterwards, the Governor-General received the Secretary, Royal Australian Air Force Association, Queensland, Mrs Judy Webster. Later, the Governor-General received a farewell call from the First Assistant Secretary, Government Division, Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, Ms Barbara Belcher.
