On Monday 9 March 2009, at The Richardson Hotel, Perth, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received Honorary Aides-de-Camp to the Governor-General, Colonel Michael Page ADC and Wing Commander Russell Page ADC.

Afterwards, at the Parmelia Hilton, Perth, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE attended the Committee for Economic Development of Australia forum at which the Governor-General delivered the keynote address. In the afternoon, at Government House, Perth, the Governor-General received the Premier of Western Australia, the Honourable Colin Barnett MLA. Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce attended a State Reception hosted in their honour by the Governor of Western Australia, His Excellency Dr Ken Michael AC and Mrs Julie Michael.
