Morning tea for the 21st Annual Australian American Leadership Dialogue; Dinner for the Ambassador of the United States of America

On Monday 12 August 2013, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO, hosted a morning tea for participants of the 21st annual Australian American Leadership Dialogue.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received the Deputy Principal of Maroubra Junction Primary School, Mrs Helen Empacher, and accompanying students.

Later, the Governor-General received the Sex Discrimination Commissioner, Ms Elizabeth Broderick.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, hosted a dinner for the Ambassador of the United States of America, His Excellency Dr Jeffery Bleich and Mrs Rebecca Bleich. Guests included: the Honourable Gail Gago MLC and Mr Peter Gago; Air Chief Marshal Angus Houston AC AFC (Ret’d) and Mrs Liz Houston; the Honourable John Howard OM AC and Mrs Janette Howard; Ms Ann Jakle and Dr Richard Whiteley; the Honourable Paul Keating and Ms Julie Newbould; Ms Gail Kelly and Dr Allan Kelly; Mr Eddie McGuire AM and Mrs Carla McGuire; Mr Ben Quilty and Ms Kylie Needham; Mr Dennis Richardson AO and Mrs Betty Richardson; Mr Dick Smith AO and Mrs Pip Smith; and Ms Lisa Wilkinson and Mr Peter FitzSimons AM.
