Muriel Matters; World Wide Fund for Nature 50th Anniversary

On Monday 10 October 2011, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC hosted a morning tea for the Muriel Matters Society.

Afterwards, the Governor-General met with the Chief Executive of the Business Council of Australia, Ms Jenny Westacott.

Later, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE hosted a reception for the World Wide Fund for Nature, marking their 50th Anniversary.

Earlier, at Brisbane International Airport, the Governor-General was represented at the arrival to Australia of the President of the Republic of Nauru, His Excellency the Honourable Marcus Stephen MP, by Commander Lachlan King ADC RAN, an Honorary Aide-de-Camp.
