Museum of Old and New Art reception; Anglesea Barracks 200th Anniversary parade and reception
On Saturday 3 December 2011, at the Museum of Old and New Art, Tasmania, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE hosted a morning tea for Tasmanian industry representatives.
Afterwards, at Anglesea Barracks, Hobart, the Governor-General, as Commander-in-Chief, and Mr Bryce, attended the Anglesea Barracks Bicentennial parade, at which the Governor-General as reviewing officer, unveiled a plaque to commemorate the 200th anniversary. Later, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce met with defence personnel and families while viewing the Anglesea Barracks Open Day military and historic displays.
In the evening, at Anglesea Barracks Officer’s Mess, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce attended a reception in recognition of the 200th Anniversary of Anglesea Barracks.
