National Breast Cancer Foundation reception

On Monday 4 April 2011, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received from Diabetes Australia, President, Ms Patricia McKenzie, and Chief Executive Officer, Mr Lewis Kaplan.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received from Zip Industries, the Chairman and Chief Executive, Mr Michael Crouch AO, and former Chairman and Chief Executive, Mr Gavin Lockley.

Later, the Governor-General received from ABC Radio National, Ms Sheryle Bagwell.

In the evening, the Governor-General, as Patron, hosted a reception for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, at which the Governor-General presented the annual Patron’s Awards.

Earlier, Mr Bryce received architectural historian, Dr Zeny Edwards.

In the morning, at Melbourne International Airport, the Governor-General was represented at the arrival in Australia by the President of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, His Excellency Dr Jose Ramos-Horta, by Colonel Michael Annett CSC ADC, an Honorary Aide-de-Camp.
